Please Help Our Shelter

See the Adoptees
We require that all adoptions made from our shelter be done in person. Usually that limits any interested persons to residents of the Coaldale, Colorado area.

There is an adoption form which must be filled out by anyone seeking to adopt a cat from us. We reserve the right to deny anyone the right to adopt from High Peaks Cat Shelter if we feel they will not make good cat owners. Please read and fill out the Adoption Contract if you are interested in any of our feline adoptees!!!

Panther
  Panther
Panther
Panther is a loveable, playful, affectionate 3 year old that gets along well with other cats. He did not have a hard time adjusting when he came to us from an over-populated house. A real sweety!!

Lilly
  Lilly
Lilly
Lilly is about 5 years old. She is shy, and would prefer to be the only cat in the house, or would probably adjust to just one other companion cat. She is a beautiful long-haired Siamese mix...with just a stub for a tail!

  Elsa
Elsa
Elsa is about 3 years old. She is a quiet, lovely little cat...a bit on the shy side. She would do well as an only cat, or with one other feline friend!

 Tippy
Tippy
Tippy is a feisty little girl!!! She definitely has Siamese in her, and prefers to be by herself. She does warm up to people, though...just not other cats!

  Daisy
Daisy
Daisy needs some time to adapt to her surroundings. She is both cat and people shy, but with a good amount of attention, would probably warm up to either cats or humans!

  Smudge
Smudge
Smudge is a terrific guy!!! He is actually Daisy's son. He got his name from the 'smudge' spot under his nose. He is friendly, and loves people and other cats.

 Jackie
Jackie
Jackie is a shy girl. She would become a wonderful pet with the time and attention she needs.... As you can see, she would also benefit from a diet!
