Our shelter, up to this point, has been strictly ‘out of pocket.’ As we take in more and more felines that need help, our expenses have also gone up. We appreciate any and all help that compassionate, caring people who also love cats might want to contribute. Of course, monetary donations are always appreciated!
What we need:
- Litter!!! Scoopable of course. Please, nothing scented!!! We do not use ‘Tidy Cat’ or ‘Johnny Cat,’ as they create a lot of dust, and some of our residents have breathing problems.
- Bleach
- Pine sol
- Paper towels
- Any high quality, name brand cat food
- Scratching posts
- Cat trees
- New toys
If you’d like to come by the shelter to drop off supplies, please email us to set up a time at this email address: hp.catshelter@yahoo.com
You can also drop off supplies intended for our shelter at the Mountain Home Veterinary Clinic in Howard, Colorado. Please call Dr. Debra Alsup at the clinic on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 9 AM-5 PM if you wish to drop off anything for the shelter. Here’s the clinic phone number: (719) 942-4844
